Hi Guys.Looking for bit of advice if possible.I have upgraded my early #003 (1997) Clubsport to The Hayabusa K9 engine which is great with all the extra power and torque
(168rwhp 98ft/lb torque at the wheels).I am running 10" rears and 7.5"fronts on Kumho F3 tyres but am having lots of traction problems.The car only runs a basic Avo single adjustable
shock with 350 front and 450 rear springs.I have read Jakes and various other posts with interest and think Penske would be...

Sorry just a repeat of a post I placed under the cars and parts banner (my mistake). I am looking for a nose and rear wing for my SR4. I could use the high-downforce front diffuser as well.
If you are interested, let me know. If you have damaged parts, I will repair them for free and pay your (reasonable) shipping. Then I'll make the mold for myself.

This is (apparently) going to be a busy winter for me. In addition to picking up my SR4 next month and (re-bodying it), I will be building a new plug/mold/parts for the re-body of the Diasio. As well, I just received an order for some foam-core wings for my old VanDieman that was crashed last week. So that means I will be heavily into glass/carbon/kevlar work for the next 4 to 5 months.

As I will be up to my elbows in this itchy stuff, I would like to offer to lay up parts for...

SR 4 Parts needed

Hi Guys. I usually lurk over in the DSR group, but I need to start visiting you all more often. I have just purchased an SR4 and I need a few bits. Most importantly I am looking for a source of a nose section. This car has had a "front-ender" . I can fab most all parts I need, but the nose is beyond repair.

Also, I saw a note from Pete regarding high-camber A-arms, etc. Is there a list of "performance" upgrades for the SR4?

Good Day All:

Just had Avon tires from Firsby Tire (www.FrisbyRaceTire.com) mounted for the SR3 and swapped in new CarboTech (www.CTBrakes.com) XP8 brake pads. I'm interested to see how they compare to the Dunlops and stock Radical brake pads that have been on the car. As soon as we are back from The Glen, I'll let you know.

G'day, I have been offered a Stohr (WF1 style ) for a reasonable sum. I am posting this in the general discussions because I am not married to a Stohr and would consider other options like Radical etc

First Q, What other options besides Radical, West and Palmer are there ?

I'd like to better understand some aspects of ownership, maintainence and running costs before engaging myself in discussions.

2001 Prosport DSR For Sale

This is a fully loaded DSR with a Loynings built Kawasaki 1000cc that was just refreshed by George Dean. The engine is dry sumped and has about 106 miles on it since refresh (test day). It has all of the optional aero bits from rollbar flarings to the carbon fiber undertray. The front splitter has been replaced with a more modern flat splitter that is easily replaced when worn and much less expensive. A good friend of mine wrecked his SR4 a month or two back, and has decided to either sell it as is, or part it out (He's fine). He figures that he'd have to put about 20k - $25k into it to get it back ship-shape (moslty the costs for new body parts and paint), and he's thinking about a different car anyway, so he's taking this as an opportunity to switch. I have been lurking on this list for a bit as I contemplated my purchase and I am pleased to say I am the proud owner of a 2009 SR3.

I had the car out for two days and it worked very well. I am still dialing it in, getting the AIM logger set up, etc... Overall I am very happy - esp with the changes Radical made for 2009.

Carbs to Manifold and Air Box

Are supposed to be circlips that hold the airbox to the rubber tubes on an SR3 with carbs? Or does the airbox get held on in the detents on the tube?
