Just had Avon tires from Firsby Tire (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.FrisbyRaceTire.com">www.FrisbyRaceTire.com</a>)  mounted for the SR3 and swapped in new CarboTech
(<a target="_blank" href="http://www.CTBrakes.com">www.CTBrakes.com</a>) XP8 brake pads.  I&#39;m interested to see how they compare to the Dunlops and stock Radical brake
pads that have been on the car.  As soon as we are back from The Glen, I&#39;ll let you know.

			<description><![CDATA[ So about 3 weeks ago I was at the track, and found that I suddenly had a 1-speed gearbox..  Turns out one of the gears had lunched itself, and the resulting
shrapnel necessitated a complete rebuild of the motor.  So in went the &#39;spare&#39; motor.  4 of us SR3 owners here in Ottawa have split the cost of a spare
motor, and we decided we&#39;d build a 1400 to have as a spare on the shelf.  As a result I find myself with a stock 1400cc Busa with 13:1 compression pistons,

<p>Can anyone explain in detail exactly how the reverse system works.</p>

<p>I realise the balls are supposed to run up the two ramps and then engage with the sprocket lugs.</p>

<p>Whwn I press the button the motor runs in the correct direction but the outer collar with the two ramps machined on it rotates at the same speed and
direction as the inner shaft so there is no way of the balls engaging.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[ Our front splitter met an untimely demise this weekend after an introduction to curbing with gator teeth.  Has anyone used the ATG front splitter with or
without the side winglets?  ATG noted using the splitter side winglets on high down force tracks and removing them for faster tracks like Road America.
Thoughts or experience? A inquiring (possibly feeble <img src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif" alt="image"> ) mind needs to know.

			<description><![CDATA[ So before I sold my Radical, the next thing I was going to do was replace the fuel cell. I was careful to inspect it yearly and it was in good shape but as 9
years rolled around, I thought that would be a good replacement.

I decided to tow down to VIR for a PCA Driver&#39;s Ed event to do some pre-season testing, and shake down the new motor in the SR3.  On the first lap of my
second session, the car snap spun in a high speed section (uphill esses) and I backed it into the wall.  F*(&amp;!!!!   Either too fast on cold tires, or
something broke.  Nothing obvious, other than WAY too much toe IN on the right rear, but that may have been the result of the impact.... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ Dyno Day 2009 - Canuck Version ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ After a winter up working on the car, and getting the engine rebuilt at WeTune in Montreal, I went to the dyno yesterday here in Ottawa to break in and tune
the motor.  I broke it in (various RPM, various gears) for about 30 minutes and then started making power pulls.

First pull netted about 150hp and low 90s torque.  We did about  10-12 pulls at WOT, and ended up with a decently flat torque curve, a perfectly flat A/F ratio

Well it lives after a Winter up on jack stands for repairs and updates.  H2O pump is done, shoulder harness mounting points moved for the Hans and various
other details.

The rear diffuser (high downforce) is ground down in a few spots and needs repairing/replacing.  I&#39;m in contact with Aerodine Composites in Indy to
determine if they can repair it.  If that&#39;s not cost effective, then we buy new.  Has anyone looked into having an aluminum diffuser... ]]></description>

This is a very frustrating problem that almost everybody has suffered from, so I thought I would post what I have learnt.

All was going well for me using my nitrogen bottle and a 3/4 rattle gun, but that only worked for so long.

I tried the 3/4 breaker bar plus 3 foot extension, someone sitting on the front wheel, me on the brakes and two guys jumping on the bar, it worked eventually.

I was cleaning the threads,lubing them with copper grease but it happened again... ]]></description>
