Registered Member Posts: 9 09/23/09 08:25:08	Tags : None Hi Guys. I usually lurk over in the DSR group, but I need to start visiting you all more often. I have just purchased an SR4 and I need a few bits. Most importantly I am looking for a source of a nose section. This car has had a "front-ender" . I can fab most all parts I need, but the nose is beyond repair. Also, I saw a note from Pete regarding high-camber A-arms, etc. Is there a list of "performance" upgrades for the SR4? I am almost finished my current project and will be starting on the SR4 around Christmas time. I have been building race cars since the 1980's and have built/maintianed everything up to CanAm. If there is a need for fab'd parts for this group, and I can assist, please let me know. We do everthing including 'glass/carbon work and repair. The SR4 is a new one for me, so I need to know the lay of the land. If you have a nose for your SR4 that you need repaired, I will do so for free, and then I will lay up a mold for myself. Registered Member Posts: 415 09/23/09 09:05:05	Tom, The SR4 and Prosport share a lot of parts in common (a-arms, etc). There are some Prosport owners locally, and I had one for about 5 years. The next time I'm in Toronto maybe we can get a beer and I can walk you through everything I learned. That being said, are you finally going to get out onto a Libre grid and go racing with us? The field for the BEMC weekend was a little thin, but we had 6+ Sports Racers at a number of races this year, and hope to get it up closer to 10 at selected weekends next year. Add to that the usual gaggle of winged formula cars, and we could see grids up into the low 20s. -Matt

Registered Member Posts: 9 09/23/09 11:34:25	Hey Matt I sold the 2L car, so all I have left right now is the Diasio and it's not yet completed. Engine swap is done, undertrays completed, etc. Still need to install(design) an alternator assbly that works with the dry sump, then mount the bodywork so it won't fall off! I have just plainly run out of money, so I have given up on this season. I am building molds this winter for it and the SR4 so I can be ready for next year. I am just up to my ^%$ in alligators! No money and too busy at work. But I can buy a beer any time (or a coffee). I am also building turbos this winter, got three motors to finish as well as a couple of customer Jag engines, so I am at least busy. Call me at work any time. 905-294-4946 Best, Tom
